The Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics (ITCP) was founded in 1992 and it is one of the 16 research institutes currently functioning under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education. The Institute is housed in the facilities of the Department of Physics of the University of Crete. Initially, it focused on theoretical and applied research in Plasma Physics and Nuclear Physics. Since 2008, it addresses more general areas of Theoretical and Computational Physics. More information is available here.
