Sync Service

English

Department of Physics is maintaining a relay server for the syncthing network.

Synthing is an open source program used to synchronize files/directories between two or more personal computers (pc, laptop, mobile etc.).

Connections between your computers are end-to-end encrypted. The relay server helps establishing the connections/transfers between your computers when there is no direct connection between them, but it cannot decrypt your data.

The client chooses a random relay on startup based on latency between them. However if you want to enforce our local relay server you must change the following in syncthing settings:

Settings -> Connections

Sync Protocol Listen Addresses:
relay://sync.cc.uoc.gr:443/?id=IXZI2ZB-SFEYH2A-ZD73DWK-YVVD3VR-ET3YZPD-3N7R6PP-3KMCUDT-N5PPSAL

You can download syncthing client from here
