Goal of the Course |
This course on Materials Science topics aims to introduce students of the Physics and other departments to the basic concepts of Materials Science with emphasis on their structure and the role of defects and doping upon their optical, electrical and mechanical characteristics. The course is suitable for 3rd and 4th year students who have attended the Condensed Mater Physics class (Φ-441) and preferable one of the electronics classes such as Φ-374. |
