Goal of the Course The course is intended for graduate students as well as for undergraduates with the proper background. The basic aim of the course is to present the role of symmetries and groups in theories of fundamental interactions.
Syllabus Group Theory. Group Representations Theory. Connection between Groups and Symmetries.The Groups SU(2) and SU(3). Lie Groups. Global, Local and Discrete Symmetries in fundamental interactions.
