Goal of the Course | The course is intended to first-year students and consists of an introduction to complex numbers and Linear Algebra, i.e., to concepts and methods of Mathematics used by contemporary Physics. Emphasis is given to the study of vector spaces Rn and Cn, the use but also the deeper understanding of matrices, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors. |
