Goal of the Course |
This is an introductory course which aims to provide a first introduction to recent developments in the field of Optoelectronics-Photonics. It covers a broad range of issues related to materials, devices and applications with emphasis on the principles of lasers and their applications in Biology, Medicine, Telecommunications, Environmental and Industrial research. The course is appropriate for 3rd or 4th year students of Departments of Chemistry and Materials Science and Technology. |
